The community comes alive with the spirit of Purim, often called the Jewish carnival, beginning this weekend and all through next week, which the actual holiday being March 8. Specifically, the East Valley JCC invites the community, especially those with young children, to our Shabbat morning playgroup on Friday, March 9 at 9:30 a.m. Following playgroup, we will join with the Early Childhood Learning Center, ages 2-5 for an interactive Purim Shpiel (play) performed by the ECLC staff.
